Handsworth Parramore manager Mick Godber says his side have nothing to lose

Handsworth Parramore go into the biggest match in their history with absolutely nothing to lose.

Parramore, Sheffield’s last Non League representative in the competition, host Evo Stik Division One North side Burscough at Sandy Lane at the second qualifying round stage.

Mick Godber said: “We go into to the game with nothing to lose.

“Burscough are a league above us and that puts them in the favourites seat.

“We can go out and give it a good go and see where it takes us, its a free hit for us.”

Parramore have already beaten higher league Stocksbridge Park Steels in a previous round.

The prize money at stake is £4,500.
