Adam Lockwood has won the permanent post of manager of Guiseley after a stint in caretaker charge.

Former Doncaster Rovers manager Dave Penney has taken up the position as assistant manager to Lockwood. Penny held the same role at Southend United until last year.

Lockwood, a former Doncaster defender who only joined Guiseley in the summer, was handed the temporary reins a few weeks ago after Mark Bower was sacked.

The Lions remain winless and bottom of the Division.
