Yorkshire Amateur won on penalties at Pontefract Collieries in their first round tie.

The Ammers held their nerve in the shootout after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Spot kicks were forced after new Pontefract striker Chris Jackson dramatically scored in the final few minutes to cancel out T’nqiue Fishley’s opener for the Ammers.

High-flying Liversedge pegged them back twice, but Farsley Celtic managed to hold their lead at 3-2.

Richard Marshall, Jacob Hazel and Alex Davidson all struck for the Celts. Vaughan Redford got both goals for ‘Sedge.

Brighouse Town eased to a 5-0 victory at Garforth Town. Greg Pearson (2), Luke Parkin, Ruben Jerome and Danny Bunch scored.
