Harrogate Railway striker Dan Barrett signed for Goole AFC in time for the clash with Ossett Town.
The forward was named as a substitute in Goole’s eventual 3-0 defeat to high-flying Ossett.
Barrett departs Station View after over a year at Railway. One positive for Goole is that Barrett scored his fair share of goals for Railway in the Evo Stik last season.
Barrett, the brother of Tadcaster defender Josh, was the second player to join Goole prior to the Ossett game as Richard Patterson also arrived.
