Former Garforth attacker Luke Mangham scored a dramatic winner for Frickley
Frickley Athletic climbed out of the relegation after Luke Mangham’s late header secured back-to-back victories.
The dramatic finish saw Frickley win 2-1 at Barwell. It was a fantastic night for Frickley, who did hold a half-time lead through Joe Pugh. Barwell equalised straight after half-time.
Shaw Lane AFC threw the kitchen sink at Division One South promotion rivals Witton Albion, but were defeated 3-2 away from home.
The Ducks trailed 3-0 at half-time, but they fought their back through Gary Burnett and captain Ryan Qualter. Unfortunately the equaliser could not be found.
In Division One North, Ossett Town drew 0-0 with Scarborough Athletic at Queensgate.
It was Actually Ross Barrows who scored Frickley’s first goal!
