Charlie Freeman and Simon Chadburn have joined Worsbrough Bridge ahead of the crunch clash with Westella & Willerby on Saturday.

Attacker Freeman, the son of Non League legend Clive, is currently on the books of Ossett Town and has played in the Evo Stik this season.

Ex-Athersley Rec man Chadburn will help out when Wombwell Main are not in action.

Josh Wright told Non League Yorkshire: (Ossett Town manager) Grant Black and (assistant manager) Mick Norbury really rate him, but want him to get first team football so i jumped at the chance to take him.

“He’s strong and lively with an eye for goal. Simon Chadburn has also signed to help out when Wombwell aren’t playing, particularly in midweek games. Chaddy has a wealth of experience which will massively benefit the spine of our side when he is available. Both go in to the squad for Saturday.”
