Glasshoughton Welfare moved back into ninth place after a good second half performance earned them a 4-0 win over Westella & Willerby at Leeds Road.

The in form Ryan Poskitt opened the scoring for Welfare early in the first half when he slotted home from six yards after a defensive mistake.

Relegation-threatened Westella did well to hold out against welfare until the 78th minute when Nathan Keightley hit a cross shot from the left which beat the visiting keeper.

Two minutes later Ashley Scothern’s 10 yards shot found the bottom corner of the net before Keightley bagged his second when he outpaced the defence on the left and he hammered the ball past the keeper.

The win bolstered their bid to finish in the top ten and secure a place in the FA Cup for next season.

Colin Heath cancelled out Danny Barlow’s 20th minute opener for Penistone Church to earn Knaresborough Town a 1-1 draw at Manse Lane.

Luke Harrop’s second half equaliser secured a point for Eccleshill United at Shirebrook Town.

Campion lost 2-1 at home to Grimsby Borough – Danny Cunningham scored.
