Glasshoughton are top half hit

Glasshoughton Welfare have finished in the top half because of the fortune of two late goals in the 6-1 demolition of promotion-chasing Penistone Church.

Goals from Conor Glavin and Nathan Keightley in the last ten minutes took Welfare past Winterton Rangers in the table and in 11th on goal difference.

In a dominant performance Andy Horbury, Adam Hayton (2) and another from Glavin gave Welfare their win on the final day of the season.

T’nique Fishley hit four as Yorkshire Amateur smashed Dronfield Town 5-1 at Bracken Edge. Freddie Swales scored the final goal of the win.

Player of the year Peter Lawrie was sent off in the last minute of Selby Town’s 1-1 draw with Teversal for handling outside the area.

Sam Cable’s earlier goal earned Selby a point.

Lee Holmes and Ainsley Finney rounded off Rossington Main’s season on a high in the 2-1 win over Nostell Miners Welfare.

Colin Heath and Brad Walker hit doubles as Knaresborough Town beat Brigg Town 4-1 at Manse Lane.

A late Daniel Flynn equaliser booked a play-off semi-final tie at Grimsby Borough for Hallam. Chris Lever’s early goal struck for Eccleshill in the 1-1 draw.

Westella & Willerby lost 1-0 to Ollerton Town.
