Assistant boss leaves Knaresborough

Mark Smitheringale has left his role as Knaresborough’s assistant manager

Mark Smitheringale has stepped down from his position as assistant manager at Knaresborough Town.

The former Harrogate Railway, Glasshoughton Welfare and Tadcaster Albion assistant leaves after spending two years at the side of Paul Stansfield.

Knaresborough chairman Peter Plews said: “Mark/Smudge has been an excellent servant to our Club. His commitment and dedication has been above and beyond the call of duty.

“Mark is well liked by and respected by everyone here at the club and Knaresborough Town would like to publicly place on record our thanks to Mark for his efforts and hard work for the club over the past seasons and on behalf of all the committee, players and supporters, we wish him well for the future.”
