Towering centre-back Tyrone Gay was a double winner at Ossett Town’s presentation night.

The awards ensured deserved recognition for the defender, who was also named in the league’s team of the year.

Because of the fact they reached the play-off final it must have been one of the hardest awards’ night in recent memory as the whole squad deserved something for their efforts.

Four more of Grant Black’s brilliant side received awards.

Black, Non League Yorkshire’s manager of the year, gave his manager’s player of the year award to young star Ashley Jackson.

The committee’s player of the year was magnificent goalkeeper Leigh Overton.

Jake Ellam won goal of the season for his thunderbolt at Burscough.

The night ended with James Rogers presenting hard-working Andy Hawksworth with the chairman’s award.
