Farsley Celtic midfielder Peter Davidson has been unveiled as the fourth summer signing at Tadcaster Albion.

The ex-North Ferriby United, Scarborough Athletic and Guiseley player was a member of the promotion-winning Farsley Celtic squad.

He follows Jason Stokes, Danny Frost and Sam Akeroyd through the entrance at the i2i Sports Stadium.

“If we want to be successful this season we need players like Pete in our squad,” Mike Morton told Tadcaster’s official website.

“He has been around these leagues for a while now and he understands what is needed to be successful.

“After watching him last season and speaking to him this weekend we knew he would fit into our way of playing straight away.

“He can play the number four or number eight role which will give our midfield great balance.”
