Chris Ovington has joined Hemsworth
Lively attacker Chris Ovington has been reunited with Wayne Benn at Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
Ovington, who played for Harrogate Railway, was a Goole AFC player under Benn a few years ago.
Ovington is an excellent signing for the Wells as he is vastly-experienced from spells at Evo Stik clubs such as Ossett Town and FC United of Manchester.
Benn said: “We have had to fight off Evostik clubs to secure his signature and we are delighted to have Chris on board. He is a great addition to the squad and he brings lots of experience of playing at a higher level.”
