Calum Ward is Garforth Town’s new striker – a year after playing in a handful of friendlies for them

New Garforth Town striker Calum Ward introduced himself to his new fans in spectacular style with a magnificent goal from distance in the 2-0 win over Harrogate Railway.

Ward has chosen to leave Selby Town and link up again with Rob Hunter who previously brought the best of him at Glasshoughton Welfare in 2013.

Garforth sealed their victory in the second half with Lee Turner’s free kick.

Ash Flynn and Fernando Moke steered Yorkshire Amateur to a 2-1 win over a young Guiseley side.

Goals from Nathan Curtis (2), Ashley Jackson and Anthony Mackie earned Ossett Town a 4-0 victory over Rossington Main.
