Ash Flynn scored the opener for Yorkshire Amateur against Nostell Miners Welfare with just eight seconds gone on the clock.

CCTV behind the goal at Bracken Edge has today confirmed the exact number of seconds from kick-off to Flynn’s bullet of a strike.

Estimates on Saturday placed the goal at five seconds until Ammers officials looked at the CCTV video.

The goal set the Ammers on their way to a 6-1 demolition of Nostell. All the goals were scored in the first half. Flynn hit a further three, with Fernando Moke and Daniel Naidole chipping in.

Danny Cunningham’s early goal earned Campion a 1-0 win at FC Bolsover.

AFC Emley were beaten again as they lost 3-2 at Dronfield Town.

There were positives to take as Emley led 2-1 at one stage though goals from Jonny Bullivant and Lewis Dickinson.
