Agnew double defeats local rivals

Bridlington Town striker Brett Agnew

Brett Agnew scored twice in two second half minutes to turn a deficit into a 2-1 win for Bridlington Town in the local derby clash at Hall Road Rangers.

Hall Road, whose attacker Josh Batty was sent off, took the lead through Chris Spinks.

Handsworth Parramore stormed past Parkgate in a 4-2 victory. Parramore had the points sown up in no time at all as Jon Froggatt, Oscar Radford, Aaron Moxam and Micky Harcourt struck.

The only disappointment for Parramore was allowing Danny Harris and Tamir Nasir score for Parkgate.

Devonte Morton’s late equaliser earned Liversedge a 1-1 draw at Rainworth Miners Welfare.

Albion Sports scored twice in stoppage time to come from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 at Staveley Miners Welfare.

Omar Habeeb, Danny Facey and an own goal gave Albion their point.

Thackley and Harrogate Railway battled out another dramatic contest. This time it ended with Thackley scoring two late goals to win 5-3.

Mike Garrod and Kesiolu Omolokun got the decisive goals for the Bradford-based side.

Callum Terrell’s first half strike secured three points for Pickering Town at Pontefract Collieries.

Eddy Birch saw red for Pickering, while Ponte’s Mikey Dunn was also sent off.

Richard Collier, Sam Jones and Lloyd Henderson earned red hot Hemsworth Miners Welfare a 3-0 win over Barton Town.

Mark Simpson scored on his Worksop Town debut to enable them to beat Maltby Main.
