Young Pontefract Collieries star Jack Greenhough scored a rare goal

Leaders Pontefract Collieries came from behind to demolish Worksop Town in a 5-1 smashing at Beechnut Lane.

The Colls suffered a bad start as Worksop debutant Alec Denton volleyed home at the back-post.

However, Worksop had no answer for Pontefract’s lethal strike-force who proceeded to rip their visitors apart.

Goal machine Ash Emmett scored twice in the space of seven minutes to put them ahead.

The Colls were in dreamland soon after as Jack Greenhough scored a very rare goal with a header.

The points were wrapped up by the 52nd minute as Mark Whitehouse unleashed a 30-yard screamer.

Mikey Dunn added the icing on the cake in the last minute.

Penistone Church were beaten 5-0 at AFC Mansfield.
