New Barton Town manager Dave Ricardo
Title-winning boss Dave Ricardo has made a swift return to the Non League scene after becoming the new manager of Barton Town.
Ricardo, who was sacked by Hall Road Rangers two weeks ago, takes charge along with assistant Gary Allanson – the former Bridlington Town chief.
Ricardo replaces Dave Botham who parted company with Barton on Saturday night after a poor start to the season.
The new Barton manager faces a big job as his team are second-bottom after picking up just one win from their first eight matches.
Ricardo and Allanson’s first game at the helm is the away clash at Bottesford Town on Wednesday night.
