Magic man Joe Dale hit four as promotion-chasing Selby Town obliterated Rossington Main.

The sensational victory is the latest under ‘The Messiah’ Christian Fox, who continues to guarantee value for money for his and the club’s growing followers.

What is even more amazing about the latest win is that Selby have now scored 60 league goals – in the whole of last season they managed to score 61 times.

It again underlines just what an amazing job he has done and going into Christmas, a push for the top two is not out of the realms of fantasy.

The points were sown-up at half-time at Rossington with Dale leading the way. He scored a tap-in for his opener. The second came from goalkeeper Paul Hagreen’s long kick downfield. He latched onto it and lobbed the Rossington goalkeeper.

Dale completed his treble on 35 minutes by firing a low shot into the bottom corner.

Dale netted his fourth close to the hour mark. He was involved in fifth too as his shot was diverted home by Rossington defender James Bytheway.

Rossington’s day was also compounded by a late red card.
