New signing Devonte Morton made an instant impression at Campion after scoring a hat-trick in the 11-1 smashing of FC Bolsover.
Tom Robinson also hit a treble in the demolition of Bolsover, whose manager 24 hours earlier had said his players knew what was required of them.
Aiden Day (2), Danny Stocker (2) and stalwart Danny Brown completed the rout.
More bad news followed for Bolsover as Brigg Town climbed off the bottom of the table with a 1-0 win at Swallownest.
