Piteu Crouz was the hero for Campion

Former Leeds United youngster Piteu Crouz scored the late winner at Worsbrough Bridge for Campion in a 2-1 win, keeping the Bradford-based side’s play-offs hopes alive.

Crouz’s timely intervention means Campion remain in the race for the top six, but they are going to need some snookers as Hallam and Glasshoughton Welfare could easily pull away.

Jay Davis had given Campion an early lead, but a magnificent volley from Bridge player/manager Lee Morris had seemingly secured a point for Worsbrough until the dramatic finale.

Worsbrough remain in relegation danger as Brigg Town won 3-2 at Nostell Miners Welfare, who were without a few key players.

Nostell led twice through Adam Knight and Jack Owen, but Brigg came back to win.

Sam Fewkes and Mitch Dunne scored as Hallam won 2-0 at Dronfield Town.
