Worsbrough Bridge picked up a crucial 2-1 victory at East Yorkshire Carnegie, but their safety is still very much in the balance with three games remaining.

Player/manager Lee Morris and Joe Dungworth got the goals to end Worsbrough’s 15 match winless run which dates back to early January.

An own goal from Josh Dacre with 20 minutes to go must have given Worsbrough the jitters, but Morris, who has led from the front by scoring some very important goals recently, and his men held-on.

Bridge still have to face Brigg Town, alongside tough clashes with promotion-chasing sides Grimsby Borough and Glasshoughton Welfare.

What the massive victory does do is heap tons of pressure on FC Bolsover who Worsbrough have moved above.

Selby Town had a goal disallowed as they were beaten 3-2 at Ollerton Town. Ollerton were leading 3-0 with eight minutes to go, despite Selby creating chance after chance. Gary Collier fired Selby back into it before the disallowed goal. Jordan Snodin would then score. Selby threw the kitchen sink and Liam Flanagan hit the crossbar during injury-time.

Piteu Crouz scored a last minute winner as Campion beat Dronfield Town 2-1. Captain Graham Hall also scored for Campion.
