Adam Priestley is going to be playing for Ossett United

Eight players have committed themselves to play for new Ossett United next season, including Gibraltar International Adam Priestley.

Six of those announced in the last few days played for Ossett Albion in the season just gone. Midfield generals Jason Yates and Corey Gregory, the former Stocksbridge Park Steels star, are the only Ossett Town players to feature in the latest batch.

Also committing themselves are Adam Chippendale, Marcus Edwards, Jack Stockdill, James Knowles, and centre-back Joe Wilkinson.

One Albion player who won’t be playing for the new Ossett club is Scott Metcalfe as an agreement could not be reached.

  1. This all smacks of a defacto Albion take over, in Ossett. Yellows money man, manager, basically their team….

slightly surprised Towns supporters haven’t started up a club of their own – like Emley’s support did.
