Rollinson re-signs for Glasshoughton

Connor Rollinson is staying with Glasshoughton Welfare

Former Worsbrough Bridge captain Connor Rollinson has re-signed for Glasshoughton Welfare.

The versatile player, who can play in defence and midfield, will enter a second consecutive campaign for Welfare having rejoined the club last summer.

Although he did not start every week, Rollinson was always utilised and trusted to play in the big games, such as the play-off semi-final at Grimsby Borough.

Rollinson has previously said that he hopes Glasshoughton can go one better and win promotion in the upcoming season.

Rollinson is very experienced NCEL player having made his debut in the league at the age of 16 for Pontefract Collieries in 2008. He has since given committed displays for Kinsley Boys, Worsbrough (two spells) and Glasshoughton (two spells).

He is the third Glasshoughton player to commit for next season, following in the footsteps of Gaz Hunter and Rob Oldham,
