Garforth Town manager Rob Hunter has appointed Michael Reynolds as first team coach

Michael Reynolds, a key member of the famous Emley side that gave West Ham the fright of their lives in 1998, has joined Rob Hunter’s Garforth Town coaching staff.

Reynolds, a winger in Ronnie Glavin’s Emley team, replaces Simon Swales who wants to resume his playing career.

Swales leaves with the club’s gratitude as he assisted Mark Smitheringale during Hunter’s four-month ban and even took charge of one match.

Reynolds was recently the first team coach at Harrogate Railway during Marlon Adams’ reign.
