Steven Jeff and Derry Robson are set to lead Goole AFC on their return to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after being appointed as the club’s new joint managers.
Loyal servant Robson previously held the same role with current Worsbrough Bridge assistant boss David Taylor for the second half of the 2016/17 season. Jeff, who once had a successful spell in caretaker charge of Ossett Town, was player/coach in that management set-up.
Goole have also confirmed the appointment of Alan Wilson as the club’s new chairman.
The club statement does not mention Karl Rose or Sam Leigh, who was named as chairman last month.
