Garforth centre-back Luke McCrum has joined Harrogate Railway

Garforth Town defender Luke McCrum has returned to Harrogate Railway as part of Brian Davey’s new look squad.

McCrum originally played for Railway at 17 during the great Billy Miller era before going onto play for Knaresborough under Davey then Garforth for two-and-half years.

Also arriving from Garforth is striker Sean Hunter.

Joel Freeston, a former Knaresborough striker, has also joined, along with midfielder Danny Blacker, Lewis Pye and ex-Farsley Celtic midfielder Craig Tonkinson.

Two other stand-out names to join Railway are former Knaresborough captain Matt Duerden and popular midfielder Fatlum Ibrahimi, who rejoins Railway after two years away.
