Worsbrough Bridge have retained several key players, including star striker Jack Mawson who had attracted interest from other clubs.
Mawson has trained with Athersley Rec, and at least one other club this summer, but he has now pledged to remain with Lee Morris’ men.
Mawson, once of Ossett Town in the Evo Stik, was a crucial member of the Bridge which surprised many last season.
Also staying are captain Scott Batty, defenders Connor Rollinson and Jack Waldron, plus striker Kieran Hirst and Kyle Wordsworth.
Calan Rollinson, who scored a ‘worldie’ at Grimethorpe on Wednesday night, also signs again, along with goalkeeper Josh Diggles.
New faces include Harry Scott and Sam Race.
