Ambitious Yorkshire Amateur have captured title-winning Worksop Town striker Matthew Sykes.

Sykes was available following his shock departure from Worksop earlier this week for “personal reasons”.

Sykes won the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title in April, scoring 26 times in the process, and the Ammers will be hoping the forward can help lead them to it in 2020.

Sykes has also previously played for Rainworth.
