Waldron out, Scott in at Bridge

Jack Waldron has joined Nostell Miners Welfare after recently leaving Worsbrough

Tall defender Jack Waldron has re-joined Nostell Miners Welfare, while goalkeeper Stephen Scott has arrived at Worsbrough Bridge.

Waldron returns to Nostell from Worsbrough at a good time as reinforcements are needed at the back. Talismanic captain Rhys Meynell limped off during the 4-1 win over Campion – leaving only one fit centre-back on the pitch in Jack Cowgill.

Waldron, also an ex-Armthorpe Welfare defender and a contemporary of the Paul Lines era at Nostell, is back in time for the trip to bottom-placed East Hull tonight.

Worsbrough are not in action until Saturday’s trip to North Ferriby and Scott will add competition to the no1 shirt and work with youngster Harry Scott.
