Chris Hilton has added strength to his Stocksbridge Park Steels strike-force with the signing of Steve McDonnell from Grant Black’s Belper Town.
McDonnell is very experienced and he won the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title with Worksop Town last season.
Maltby Main, Parkgate and Clipstone are some of his former haunts. He scored ten goals for Maltby in the 2017/18 campaign.
With star man Danny Frost continuing to be injured, Hilton has freshened up his options upfront.
McDonnell has played five times for Belper this season. Belper are managed by Black, who is of course the hugely-successful former Ossett Town manager.
