Christian Fox’s Selby Town sprinted into second place in Toolstation NCEL Division One after a 5-0 demolition of Swallownest.

Selby were out of sight by half-time at the home of their lowly opponents as Josh Walker, Chris Jackson and Casey Stewart had scored.

The result gains revenge for Selby on Swallownest who beat them 2-0 last December in a game marred by excessive time-wasting.

Josh Walker and Charlie Clamp completed the rout early in the second half for Selby, who near the end had Ali Ann sin-binned.

Luke Williams and Josh O’Neil secured a 2-2 draw for Armthorpe Welfare against high-flying Retford FC.

Worsbrough Bridge were beaten 3-0 at home by Skegness Town.
