Ash Flynn scored his 100th goal for Yorkshire Amateur as the East Leeds-based side won 2-0 at AFC Mansfield in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.

Flynn struck during first half stoppage time after Fernando Moke’s corner evaded everyone apart from him.

The goal is the latest milestone of a glittering Non League career which has seen him score over 300 NCEL goals in just seven years.

New signing Adam Priestley came on as a substitute on the hour mark, but it was left to Moke to seal the points. Flynn was unselfish as he looked certain to score from Ross Daly’s cross. But instead of shooting he passed to Moke who tapped home.

The win takes the Ammers up to fifth, with games-in-hand on the teams above them.

At the other end of the table, Silsden ended a run of seven straight defeats by winning 4-2 at Knaresborough Town with ten men.

Knaresborough, whose goals were scored by Andy Cooper suffered their fifth loss on the spin.

Marko Basic, Laurence Surhaindo (2) and Aidan Kirby struck for Silsden, who had Liam Hudson sent off.
