Last season’s title-winning Worksop Town captain Danny Patterson has joined promotion-chasing Yorkshire Amateur.
Patterson drops down a Division to sign for the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side.
He has a solid pedigree for playing for successful teams, having also been in the Shaw Lane Aquaforce which won promotion out of Division One in 2014. He was also captain of the Division One title-winning side at Handsworth in 2011.
Patterson, also formerly of Ossett Town, Maltby Main, Tadcaster Albion and other clubs, arrives ahead of the visit of Goole AFC on Saturday.
