Leon Hurles-Brook scored Campion’s coup de grâce goal in the crucial win at fallen leaders Winterton Rangers

Two late goals earned Campion a crucial 3-1 victory at fallen leaders Winterton Rangers.

The massive win sent Selby Town to the top of the Toolstation NCEL Division One table, but for fifth-placed Campion it maintains their bid for a top four place.

Lee Ashforth and James Bicknell’s men won it through Andy McCreadie and Leon Hurles-Brook’s goals.

Winterton had Craig Nelthorpe sent off following the third goal.

A comfortable 3-1 home win over Brigg Town ensured North Ferriby remained fourth. Tom Corner, Jamie Forrester (penalty) an Luke Lofts scored.

Title favourites Skegness Town remain in the race for top spot as Daniel Trott’s double helped them defeat Armthorpe Welfare 2-1. New star striker Jack Owen predictively got Armthorpe’s goal.

Glasshoughton Welfare’s promotion hopes look over following the 2-0 defeat at Retford FC.
