Scarborough Athletic manager Darren Kelly is still in negotiations with five players, but has secured eight from last season’s NPL Premier Division squad.
Star striker James Walshaw is staying, along with Michael Coulson, Ryan Watson, Chris Dawson, Josh Barrett, Harry Coates, Jimmy Beadle, Ryan Blott and Isaac Assenso.
Top goalkeeper Tom Taylor is one of those still in discussions with Kelly, along with Wayne Brooksby, Luke Porritt, Kian Spence and midfielder Pete Davidson.
Only Jack Jackson has left the club.
So far Kelly has made three signings, Kieran Weledji, Kieran Glynn and former Farsley Celtic striker Nathan Cartman.
