Casey Stewart joins Yorkshire Amateur

New Yorkshire Amateur attacker Casey Stewart

Former Tadcaster Albion starlet Casey Stewart has joined promotion-chasing Yorkshire Amateur.

Stewart arrives at Bracken Edge to bolster an already very strong squad which is hoping to take the Ammers in the NPL for the first time in the club’s history when football resumes.

The attacker ,who played for Sheffield United at under 18s level, has spent the majority of his Non League days at Tadcaster Albion.

He has also had two spells with Selby Town under the fine management of Christian Fox. He was around at the beginning of Fox’s tenure in 2017 and he rejoined the Robins last season to bolster their promotion bid.

  1. the lad played for you when he should have been playing higher!he’s 21 year old and gone to league above to play a better standard than Selby. show some class Ralph.your a good guy

  2. The reason Selby signed Cassy was to get promoted the null and void of the league unfortunately stopped Selby getting promoted

  3. I thought Casey would have at least stayed for one more season to see it through. Disappointing but that’s football, I think the step up will be two much. He is good, but, selfish, his new team mates will not like it.

We will see at the season end. He is right for Selby Town, but not Liversedge, he has a lot to learn.
