Paddy McGuire has officially retained his Thackley squad, barring Sean Hunter and Albert Ibrahimi who have moved on.
McGuire previously said in an interview with Non League Yorkshire last month that apart from Hunter and Ibrahimi he expected his full squad to sign on again.
So the likes of star striker Jack Normanton, who has turned down moves from higher league clubs on a fairly regular basis, Ryan Basi, Lawrance Hunter and the rest of last season’s Thackley squad are back.
When the 2020/21 Toolstation NCEL Premier Division season does start, it will be McGuire’s third at the helm and he is hoping to build on the progression the club has made on-and-off-the-field.
