Powerful experienced centre-back John Cyrus has committed to play for Liversedge.
The defender played for Pontefract Collieries last season, but is best known for his association with Emley, Shaw Lane and Frickley Athletic. He has also played for Altrincham in National League.
Persuading Cyrus to sign is another major shot in the arm for their promotion hopes.
‘Sedge have also added Alex Lill, who makes a return to Clayborn, to their squad. The quick forward has been admired by Jonathan Rimmington for some years and he did previously play for ‘Sedge under the Clayborn boss a couple of years ago.
