Striker Sam Agar has penned a deal with Worsbrough Bridge.

The very experienced forward had brief spells with Pontefract Collieries, Nostell Miners Welfare and Emley last season. He had been expected to play for Kinsley Boys this year.

Although Agar started his Non League career in the West Yorkshire area with the likes of Ossett Albion and Selby Town, he has spent the majority of it playing further down the country.

Clubs like Newark, Hinckley United and Walsall Wood have enjoyed his presence. One of his highlights has been playing and captaining the British Army Football team.

Agar is the new second at Park Road this week as Ryan Hallsworth has also joined. Hallsworth has left Glasshoughton Welfare.

The pair help to plug the gaps left from the recent departures from Worsbrough.
