Handsworth have brought centre-back Tom Roebuck back to the club.
Local lad Roebuck was one of Russ Eagle’s 2012 young fledglings who won the Toolstation NCEL Division One title. He returns at a fitting moment as Handsworth prepare for their official return to Olivers’ Mount.
Roebuck is perhaps best known for his association with Hallam with whom he had a ridiculously brilliant goal-scoring record for a centre-half. He once even scored a hat-trick for them.
The positive news for Handsworth comes before the FA Vase tie at Liversedge on Saturday.
