Prescot Cables have had to postpone their FA Trophy tie with Frickley Athletic.
A member of Prescot’s team has tested positive this week, following the long coach trip to Dunston on Saturday.
It means everyone who was on the coach has to self-isolate. The Frickley trophy tie and any league games in the next two weeks are off.
This is all on top of Prescot’s problems with the Tier 3 lockdown rules.
Prescot are now seeking guidance on where that leaves the cup game. It is likely Frickley will be put in the pot for the next round.
