Unbeaten Premier Division side Liversedge won 3-0 at promotion rivals Penistone Church.

Kevy Tarangadzo continued his recent goal-scoring spree with the 15th minute opener.

Two quick-fire second half goals sealed ‘Sedge’s victory. Paul Walker blasted home a free kick for the second before Ollie Fearon, the ex-Church striker, was the beneficiary of a free-flowing attacking move.

Leaders Yorkshire Amateur survived a scare against Thackley who pushed their hosts all the way in the 3-1 defeat at Bracken Edge.

Ben Grech-Brooksbank gave the Ammers a fright with his ninth minute opener. 

Casey Stewart and Fernando Moke overturned the situation with goals as half-time approached. Thackley kept pushing for an equaliser until Ross Killock put the game beyond the visitors in the final few minutes.

Steven Jeff, Jay Davis and Layton Swaine hit the target for Hemsworth Miners Welfare in the 3-0 victory at Albion Sports.

Handsworth are fourth after the 5-1 win against Bottesford Town. Leon Howarth’s double, plus goals from Joel Parkin, Sam Smith and Oscar Radford were on Handsworth’s team-sheet.

Jamie Austin smashed four past Armthorpe Welfare who were demolished in a 6-1 defeat at Parkgate.

Armthorpe’s Sean Dickinson cancelled out Brandon Bagley’s opener, but Austin (4) and Sam Ackroyd rode Parkgate to a large win.
