Edward Tordoff was Campion’s hero

Edward Tordoff’s late goal for Campion sealed a 1-0 win at Retford FC and ensured a seventh straight league victory.

In-form Tordoff’s blast was too powerful for Retford goalkeeper who pushed it onto the post before it crossed the line.

Ten man Emley showed their steel with the impressive 2- 1 success at fellow promotion contenders Hallam.

Kyle Willis’ first half penalty provided the platform for Emley, whose in-form midfielder Tom Claisse was sent off early in the second half.

Undeterred Jimmy Eyles doubled their lead and Matthew Birks setting up a close finale, Emley claimed the three points to stay behind Campion.

Harrogate Railway were on the back-foot as early as the 15th minute in the 7-2 home defeat to Rossington Main.

Carl Robinson was sent off and Rossington took advantage by racing into a 2-0 half-time lead. Fraser Lancaster and Kieran Greenway levelled proceedings just two minutes into the second half, but Rossington kicked on and won it. Jack Watson (3), Alfred Thompson, Jason Stokes, Tyla Bell and Monosse Kianga scored.

Nostell Miners Welfare threw everything at North Ferriby, but were beaten 2-1 thanks to goals from Danny East and Scott Phillips. Nathan Hawkhead got Nostell’s.

Worsbrough Bridge lost 2-1 at home to Dronfield. Elliott Wilson scored late-on for Bridge. Sam Agar missed a penalty and Dempsey Smith was sent off.

Glasshoughton Welfare lost 3-0 to Brigg Town.
