Mike Carmody has stood down as Armthorpe Welfare manager

Mike Carmody has resigned as manager of Armthorpe Welfare after four years in charge.

Armthorpe have said that Carmody felt he had taken the club as far as he could. His assistant Alan Jackson has also left.

Chairman Steve Baskerville and senior players Adam Lee and Reece Lucas will take charge in the interim.

Carmody has done a decent job to stabilise Armthorpe on-and-off-the-field. He built a competitive side over time and helped with the building of the clubhouse which is a vital part of the club’s revenue streams.
