Record-breaking striker Ash Flynn has left Yorkshire Amateur and joined Liversedge.

The ex-Emley striker who is one of the Toolstation NCEL all-time top goal-scorers leaves the Ammers after almost four seasons with them.

He helped them win promotion for the first time in the club’s history in the first season and scored over 100 goals for them overall.

Flynn adds further firepower to an already lethal strike-force which includes Ollie Fearon.

Flynn was on the bench for ‘Sedge’s 3-0 victory at Penistone Church on Wednesday night – and he came on as a late substitute. He then did the same in the 6-0 hammering of Goole and on this occasion he scored the sixth goal.
