Reece makes Pontefract comeback

Kane Reece is back at Pontefract Collieries

Double promotion winner Kane Reece is latest old boy to join Craig Rouse’s revolution at Pontefract Collieries.

The intelligent attacker was a vital cog in the two promotions achieved between 2016 to 2018 which took the Colls from Division One of the NCEL to the Northern Premier League.

New manager Rouse has vowed to bring back old faces and Reece joins Andy Seed, Jimmy Williams and Eli Hey who have also rejoined the club.

Since leaving Ponte, Reece spent considerable time playing for Nostell Miners Welfare before leaving Crofton Community Centre last summer.

He was playing for promotion-chasing Emley during the current crisis-hit 2020/21 season.
