‘Sedge and Ferriby set to continue FA Vase adventures

Liversedge and North Ferriby are set to continue their FA Vase adventures, hopefully in April.

The FA have confirmed that they want Vase to be finished so ‘Sedge and Ferriby have something to look forward to.

‘Sedge have gone further than ever before in the competition and are due to visit Hebburn Town in the fourth round.

Ferriby’s heroics in the Vase were slightly dented by the FA’s decision to force them to replay the victory over Seaham Red Star.

Ferriby beat Seaham on penalties in late December, but it was discovered Iwan Heeley should not have played as he was suspended.

However, Ferriby only played him because they received clearance from the FA to do so. Hence why a replay has been ordered instead of an expulsion.
