Thackley forward Matt Broadley has joined NPL Division One East side Pickering Town after a successful trial.
The Pikes have signed Broadley and fellow trialist Aston Harrison, an ex-York City youngster, as they seek to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
Broadley, who has previously played for Bridlington Town, was named as the captain of the England Unversities team earlier this year.
Steve Roberts said: “Matt came from a recommendation and I have been really pleased with his level of performances in the last few weeks.
“He has good pace and looks to stretch teams which is a real asset.
‘He can play in a couple of positions which is great for me as a manager.”
The news was announced following Pickering’s 2-0 defeat at North Ferriby.
