Ovington makes move to Nostell

New Nostell Miners Welfare attacker Chris Ovington

Former Ossett Town and FC United attacker Chris Ovington has joined Ian Walker’s Nostell Miners Welfare.

Ovington will add experience and feistiness to Nostell’s forward line which also includes the likes of Nathan Perks and Danny Edwards.

Ovington started his career with Leeds United before dropping into Non League.

He has played for Farsley Celtic, Ossett, FC United, Goole AFC, Hemsworth Miners Welfare and Harrogate Railway.

Most recently he has been helping to spearhead Middleton FC’s emergence as a force in the Yorkshire Amateur League.

Nostell are next in action on Friday night when they host Campion at Crofton Community Centre.
