Morgan becomes sixth signing at Campion

New Campion signing Lewis Morgan

Former Farsley Celtic centre-back Lewis Morgan has joined North West Counties side Campion.

Morgan has been out of the game for a bit, but brings good experience of higher level Non League Football to the Bradford-based club.

Morgan, the son of 1990’s Guiseley FA Vase hero Dave, is an experienced addition to Silsden’s squad and brother of Matty and Rob, joined Silsden last year.

But he is best known for his stints with Thackley, Albion Sports, Harrogate Railway, Farsley Celtic and Tadcaster Albion.

As well as centre-half, Morgan can also play in midfield.

He is the sixth signing this week at Campion behind Mark Ferguson (Glasshoughton Welfare), Nicky Boshell (Liversedge), Marc Lumb (Swallownest), Danny Keane (Pontefract Collieries) and Myles Foley (Silsden).

Morgan was involved in Campion’s pre-season friendly at Nostell Miners Welfare.
